Rev. Dinah Haag, Pastor & Choir Director
has been the pastor of First Congregational Church of Frankfort, MI
since September 1, 1998.
She grew up in Litchfield, MN, and graduated with a double music degree in vocal and instrumental music education from St. Cloud State University, MN. During her college career, she spent nine months attending SCSU in Aalborg, Denmark. After directing choirs and teaching music for seven years in the St. Croix Falls, WI school district, Dinah was led to attend Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul, MN, where she received a Master of Divinity Degree. Additional life experiences include being a certified nursing assistant for 19 years, factory line work, sales clerk, and farm milk hand. In taking the call to Frankfort, she continues to be blessed and amazed by God's goodness and grace and love. She sang with the Benzie Community Chorus upon moving to Frankfort, and in 2015, she became the second director of the group, loving every minute of it as much as ministry. She likes to fish, read, travel and if it wouldn't be so much work, she'd be a cat collector.
