Rev. Dinah J. Haag was ordained December 7,
1997, into the National Association of Christian Churches. She has been the pastor of First Congregational Church
of Frankfort since September 1, 1998.
Rev. Haag
is a native of Minnesota, receiving a double bachelor's degree from St. Cloud State in instrumental and vocal music education.
She earned a Master of Divinity degree from Bethel Theological Seminary in St. Paul, Minnesota, in 1996. She has served
churches in Chanhassen, Waseca, Bayport, Apple Valley, Lindstrom, Grove City and Litchfield, Minnesota in varying pastoral
and music capacities.
Prior to
being called to this pastorate, Rev. Haag was a public school choral director in the St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, school system
where she taught K-12 for seven years. Additional life experiences Rev. Haag has enjoyed include certified nursing assistant
(for 19 years), factory line work, sales clerk, and farm milk hand. She likes to fish, travel, watch movies, read, and
she enjoys her two cats Misse and Baxter.
