Come Visit Us
We Invite You
to Visit Us
The First Congregational
Church of Frankfort Family welcomes you to visit and worship. You will find this to be a warm, friendly place for your
own spiritual growth and journey.
Why You Should
Visit Us
Our Church is a thinking
church. It asks no ready assent to creed or catechism. It is a Church of the seeking mind, ever looking for the truth of God.
Each member of our Church possesses freedom of belief and worship. Our Church is not a building, although we often meet
there. Our Church is a fellowship of kindred spirits.
Our Church is a living Church, a people with the emphasis where Jesus
places it--on ministering unto others and on daily living. Our Church is a Church of the Spirit. It puts people first before
programs, committees, or things material.
How to Find Us
We are easily found near
the "tip of the little finger" of northwest lower Michigan in Frankfort. Take M-22 or M-115 (off of US-31) into Frankfort
where it becomes Forest Avenue. The Church is at 431 Forest Avenue (on the northwest corner of Fifth Street and Forest Avenue),
which is just two blocks past (west of) the blinking light (where M-22 turns north). For a map, scroll to the bottom of the
page.
Parking is available on the side streets or in the back of the
Church.
How To Contact
Us
We are attempting to meet
as many of the myriad methods of communication as possible. Please see our contact section at the bottom of this and every
page at this site for contact information. We look forward to hearing from you!
Other Areas of
Interest
The main industry of Frankfort
is tourism, so you will find much to do here when you visit us. Sailors, fisher folk, golfers, kayakers, nature enthusiasts
and history buffs will all find their niche. Antique collectors, artists and window shoppers can quench their thirsts
in our numerous shops. Our Visitor’s Bureau (http://www.benzie.org/) will be more than happy to provide information on these activities, on
housing or on any other interests you might have.
